Halloween 2013

It's that time of year again! I love Halloween and try every year to make time for carving pumpkins. This year's pattern of choice was scar.

Flamingo

I've always loved Flamingos. They remind me of so many wonderful trips to Orlando Florid as a kid or the time my dad surprised my mom for her 30th birthday with 30 plastic flamingos on our front lawn. As a kid that was way cool!

Caricature

The Queen of daytime talk shows. I was a dedicated Oprah show watcher by the age of 12, while eating my after school snack. Oh the good old days!

My Brother

I brought home my new Brother CE-5000 sewing machine! After much deliberation, I decided on this model. In the start I had my heart set on a PFAFF machine, but for a beginner like me, this is an awesome machine and is full of different stitches, 50 to be exact.

Pumpkins

We carved some pumpkins once again this year. I really look forward to it every year. My boyfriend, Brent had never carved a pumpkin (hard to believe!) Part way through, you look at your pumpkin and think "will this actually look like anything?" and I'm always amazed how they come to life once lit.
